Artist Statement — Desert Signal

Desert Signal is not painted, printed, or generated. It’s built—digitally, deliberately, and by hand.

Rooted in the landscapes of West Texas and guided by the clarity of Bauhaus design, my work explores silence, scale, and geometric restraint. Each piece begins as a conceptual structure, then evolves through intentional composition—layer by layer, shape by shape. Though created digitally, these works are not automated. They are designed to hold stillness, to transmit feeling, and to honor space as both a subject and a symbol.

In an era saturated with generative art and visual noise, Desert Signal stands apart by refusing the shortcut. I use modern tools, but the voice behind the work is unmistakably human. This is not decoration. This is signal.

I’m not chasing tradition, and I’m not rejecting it either. I’m simply building art that remembers how to pause—and invites you to do the same.
